- Flowers and foliage should be away from the flame’s reach. Keep candles at least 12 inches from everything that can burn. With candelabras, use hurricane glass candle holders. Always use a candleholder specifically designed for candle use.
- The holder should be heat resistant, sturdy and large enough to contain any drippings or melted wax. Be sure the candleholder is placed on a stable, heat-resistant surface.

Always burn candles in a well-ventilated room.
- Consider using battery-operated or electric flameless candles.
- Extinguish candles after use.

A romantic decoration At The Veranda. Owned by the amazing Executive Chef Michael Bomberg. The Veranda is an indoor and outdoor venue with beautiful trees. In addition a very romantic courtyard, a lovely ceremony area, a large pavilion and many other areas for large or intimate events. (not to mention the state of the art in-house caterers, Spice Of Life unlike many others.
We enjoyed designing a very romantic gazebo that screams a wonderful vintage aesthetic everywhere.To reflect the theme we used minimal flowers. An abundance of lace in three different shades of cream. Along with a vintage-style chandelier in cream that was adorned with pearls, crystals, and roses in a vintage pink and cream.
The gazebo table was draped with lace in three different tones. Gathered and secured with different types of brooches in gold and decorated with pearls.Complimenting the rest of the ambiance soft lights of the candles set the tone of the romantic vintage decor quite well, complimenting the rest of the ambiance.
Small bouquets of roses in cream and pink were attached to a few key areas in the gazebo. In addition lace was also secured to the walls to achieve an asymmetrical look. The two of the gazebo’s windows were also decorated with two mini vintage chandeliers and battery operated candles.
We also arranged tall centerpieces using the same color scheme of roses. This time we added pink spray roses for texture. Also along with foliage to the centerpieces to continue with the theme. A tea set that included two teacups with saucers and a teapot to display the flowers was use on the sweetheart table. Destiny Bridal beautiful laced bridal gown was placed in between the table and the gazebo to unify the decor. The battery operated candles displayed throughout the area to add more romance to the event.
